Classic Qwixx

The original sheet. Red and yellow climb, green and blue fall.

The sheet

  • Four rows — red, yellow, green and blue — of eleven numbers each.
  • Red and yellow run 2 up to 12; green and blue run 12 down to 2.
  • Every player has the same sheet, as on paper.

Marking

  • Cross off numbers left to right only. You may skip as many as you like, but you can never go back.
  • Tap a crossed-off box to clear it — your own marks are yours to correct, whenever you spot the mistake.
  • The rightmost number in a row needs 5 marks in that row before you may take it.
  • Taking it locks that row for everyone at the table, not just you.
  • A locked row still takes marks for 30 seconds, because the same roll can entitle more than one player to that number — including the last one, padlock and all.
  • The app does not check the dice. Roll at the table and take the numbers the roll allows, as you would on paper.

Scoring

  • Each row scores on how many boxes you crossed off in it: 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 21, 28, 36, 45, 55, 66, 78.
  • Locking a row is worth 1 extra crossed-off box — only to the player who took the last number.
  • Every penalty costs 5 points.
  • Your score is the four rows added up, less penalties.

How it ends

  • The game ends once 2 rows are locked.
  • It also ends the moment any player takes their fourth penalty.
  • Highest score wins. Level scores share the place — there is no further tiebreak.
